GR8 Job: Deputy brings timeless classic to young students’ attention

IZARD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Being a law enforcement officer requires more than just handing out traffic tickets and making arrests.

Every day, deputies and police officers across this great land go above and beyond the call of duty to serve the citizens of their community.

Case in point: Sgt. Steve Davidson with the Izard County Sheriff’s Office.

When he learned that some preschoolers at Izard County Elementary School had never seen the cartoon “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” he took it upon himself to rectify the situation.

According to a social media post from the school, Davidson showed up at the school Thursday with the movie in hand.

He popped the classic Christmas cartoon into the machine, then sat and watched it with the kids.

As you can see, he was just as engrossed in the show as the kids.

GR8 Job, Sgt. Davidson. You are Region 8.
