PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -Paragould police officers were sent to the scene of an accident on Dec. 4 where they arrested a woman for driving drunk, while having kids in the vehicle.
According to the probable cause affidavit, officers spoke to 26-year-old Edrena Burk of Paragould who admitted she had been drinking.
Burk went on to tell officers she drank half a bottle of Pinnacle Vodka.
During the investigation, officers discovered Edrena had her two children in the vehicle during the accident.
Burk was arrested and taken to police department where the affidavit said she blew a .20 on the BAC machine.
She now faces charges of hazardous driving, no driver’s license, no insurance, DWI and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Burk appeared in court on Dec. 5 where bond was set at $25,000 with the condition she have no contact with children.
