Cardinals Caravan will visit Jonesboro January 19th

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Cardinals Caravan is stopping in Jonesboro.

St. Louis will visit Saturday, January 19th at The Mall at Turtle Creek. Four young Cards will be the center of attention.

- Jordan Hicks recorded 6 saves plus reached 105 mph on the radar gun

- Austin Gomber won 6 games last season.

- Adolis Garcia appeared in 21 games with St. Louis

- Tyler O’Neill hit .254 with 23 RBI including a walkoff homer in September.

New 1st base coach Stubby Clapp is also coming along with Cardinal alumni Jason Motte and Rick Horton.

The Cardinal Caravan event will begin with a question-and-answer session with the players and alumni in attendance. Following the program, there will be an autograph session for the first 400 kids ages 15-and-under. The entire event is free and open to the public, and it is being presented by East Arkansas Broadcasters, which includes local Cardinal affiliate 95.9 The Wolf (KWHF).

The Caravan will also feature the opportunity to win prizes from the Cardinals, with proceeds benefiting the Miracle League of Jonesboro. Attendees can also register for a free grand prize giveaway of four tickets to the Aug. 11 Cardinal game against Pittsburgh and four flight vouchers from Jonesboro to St. Louis.
