301 pounds of marijuana seized after traffic stop in MO

MISSOURI (KFVS) - Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol found a large amount of drugs after a traffic stop.

In the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 at the 101 mile marker officials stopped a vehicle in Cooper County, Mo for following too close.

Inside the vehicle they found 301 pounds of marijuana.

The drugs were in vacuum sealed bags according to officials.

The stop was made on Dec. 13.
