JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro teen lost his life after the car he was driving Monday evening ended up in a Missouri ditch.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Michael D. Craig, 16, was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry west on Highway 108 and Highway 164 in Dunklin County.

Around 6 p.m., Craig drove off the left side of the road when he approached the Main Street intersection in Arbyrd.

He then struck a ditch.

Colton Woods, 15, was also in the car and a helicopter took him to St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro with serious injuries.

The report states Craig was wearing a seat belt, but Woods was not.
