BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - The city of Blytheville hopes to have a hole that has formed in the middle of Moultrie Drive fixed by spring.

Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson said the sewer collapsed three weeks ago and over a period of time, the ground began to collapse.

Now there is a 50 foot hole in the road.

Jefferson said a resolution was passed to fix the hole and reroute sewage from one point to another point.

City crews removed debris off of the gas line on Monday.
