MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Via Airlines announced it will launch flights at Memphis International Airport this summer.
Via will begin nonstop flights between Memphis and Austin and Memphis and Pittsburgh beginning June 25.
The flights will run four times per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Via is the 10th passenger airline to offer flights at MEM.
“Memphis is a great city and we’re excited to introduce nonstop service to and from Austin and Pittsburgh,” said Dominic Acevedo, Via Airlines’ Vice President of Flight Operations. “Nonstop service not only helps travelers move to and from these destinations faster and more economically than existing options, but also ensures the opportunity for our own steady growth and continued provision of reliable service for the Memphis market and beyond.”
Via brands themselves as nonstop, low-cost, high-value flights. The planes feature two seats on each site, meaning there are no dreaded middle seats.
