JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding the person or persons responsible in a series of vandalism cases in downtown Jonesboro, causing nearly $50,000 in damage.

According to Jonesboro Police Sgt. Lyle Waterworth, Crimestoppers of Jonesboro is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals involved in the vandalism at Iberia Bank on South Main Street.

Waterworth said the vandalism happened Oct. 9, Oct. 12, Oct. 15, Nov. 27, Dec. 1 and Dec. 6.

“Several windows at the bank have been damaged by someone shooting a BB gun or ball bearings at the windows,” Waterworth said. “Now, Crimestoppers of Jonesboro is offering the $1,000 reward to encourage someone to come forward with the information needed to bring this case to a close.”
