Jonesboro police are asking the public's help in identifying this couple accused of using counterfeit $100 bills at local businesses.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people suspected of passing funny money.

Investigators say the two people have passed counterfeit $100 bills at roughly 11 local businesses.

Little Caesar’s Pizza, 2227 S. Caraway, reported around 1:30 p.m. Thursday that someone had used a forged $100 bill to make a purchase earlier in the day by a couple scene in these photos, according to a news release from the police department.

Initially, the clerk checked the bill with a yellow marker and found it to be a valid bill.

It was later discovered, after further inspection, that it was a real $10 bill that had been altered.

According to JPD, the bill still had its security strip and hologram.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the man and woman should call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP (7867).
