JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The man arrested for picking up a Valley View teen from school one morning and taking her to his home in Poplar Bluff has been arrested again.

Keegan Tatsch, 25, of Poplar Bluff was arrested for trying to meet a 15-year-old in Cross County for sex.

According to a Facebook post by the First Judicial District Drug Task Force, Tatsch drove nearly 109 miles from Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Cherry Valley to meet a 15-year-old child for sex.

Police say over the past week, Tatsch sent sexually explicit messages and a photo of his genitalia to what he believed was an underage child.

In the post, police say they found a bag packed with two changes of clothes, multiple condoms, and a hygiene kit.

Investigators say Tatsch told the child that he would spend the weekend with her in the absence of her family who was allegedly on vacation.

Tatsch was recently charged in Craighead County with interference with custody offense after a missing 16-year-old Valley View High student, was found at Tatsch’s residence in Missouri after Arkansas State Police notified the public of her disappearance.

Tatsch’s vehicle was allegedly seen on video picking up the girl from Valley View High School after the two began talking online.

“This case is a prime example of law enforcement agencies in Cross County working together in a proactive investigation,” stated a special agent with the DTF. “This guy was at it again and we stopped him. We will continue to take the fight to these predators.”

Tatsch is being held on charges of internet stalking of a child and will have his first appearance Monday in Cross County District Court. His bond is currently set at $50,000 cash only.

Tatsch was arrested in the joint sting investigation by the Drug Task Force, Wynne PD, Cross County Sheriff’s Office, and Cherry Valley Police Department.
