Rain will taper off this afternoon as a low pressure system departs, with dry conditions taking hold tonight and tomorrow. High temperatures today will reach the mid 50s with gusty west winds. The mild weather will come to an end Saturday with the passage of a strong cold front. Rain on Saturday may taper off as light snow by nightfall but accumulation is doubtful. Highs will plunge into the low to mid 30s Sunday with overnight lows near 20. The next chance of rain comes next Tuesday.
