JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Blake Anderson is putting the finishing touches on his 2019 Arkansas State staff.

The Red Wolves announced Thursday afternoon that Rashad Jackson is the new running backs coach. Jackson will take over after Norval McKenzie left A-State for a spot on the Louisville staff.

He spent 2018 as the offensive coordinator at Trinity Valley Community College. Before that the Oklahoma native spent 9 seasons at East Central University, a Division II school in the Great American Conference. Jackson directed a record setting offense at ECU. The 2015 squad set new marks for total offense (4,942 yards) and passing yards (3,541). He also coached 2017 NFL Draft pick David Moore.

Jackson participated in the Bill Walsh NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship in 2013. He worked with the Denver Broncos staff as a part of that program.
