Death investigation underway after man found shot to death

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police are investigating after a man was shot and killed late Tuesday night.

According to a news release from Police Chief Ross Thompson, officers responded to the 1200-block of Short Street around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday due to someone being shot.

There, police found Jerry Marshall, 63, of Blytheville inside his home unresponsive.

Marshall lived at the home with his wife at the time of the shooting, according to Thompson.

A death investigation is now underway to determine the circumstances that led to Marshall’s death.
