RIPLEY & OREGON COUNTIES, MO (KAIT) - A traffic stop by a Ripley County deputy in Missouri Feb. 1 led to the arrest of two people suspected in burglaries in both Ripley and Oregon counties.
According to the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office, the two agencies worked together in the investigation into a series of burglaries in rural areas of the counties.
Deputies recovered several guns, a large amount of hunting equipment, and household goods.
Kyle King, 30, and Sandy Edwards, 33, both of Alton, were arrested.
King is charged with ten counts of first-degree burglary and his bond was set at $100,000 dollars.
Edwards is being held on a $75,000 bond for ten counts of first-degree burglary.
