Weather Headlines

A wet and very active pattern will remain over the Mid-South for the next week or so.

Multiple rounds of rainfall can be expected Monday through Tuesday as a cold front moves into the region.

A total of 2 to 5 inches of rainfall are expected through this period, with the highest amounts along and north of the I-40 corridor.

Making News

While we won’t get as much rain as first thought, Region 8 is bracing for widespread flooding.

A convicted child molester, who authorities say cut his ankle monitor and escaped going to prison in Michigan, was arrested in Jonesboro.

A Poinsett County woman is being held on a $1 million bond after police say she interfered with a child custody situation at a Jonesboro convenience store.

The man from Hope will visit Jonesboro later today. We’ll have live coverage of President Bill Clinton’s trip to Northeast Arkansas.
