GRUBBS, AR (KAIT) - Jackie Ivy, Mayor of the City of Grubbs, said with over six inches of rain, most of their streets are under water.
Ivy told residents to limit their sewer usage, including washing clothes and using restrooms at a minimal.
“There’s going to be limited travel here before long," Ivy said.
“Three or four days from now the river is going to back out and we’re going to be sandbagging,” Ivy said. "And all the roads coming into Grubbs will be closed.”
Ivy said they’ve received two loads of sandbags and will start sandbagging Tuesday.
