CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A local gas station in Cash is seeing a slowdown in business due to ongoing flooding.
The station is located off Highway 226 and is surrounded by farm land.
Megan Weaver works as a cashier and said they stay busy with all the local farmers coming in and out of the station.
That is until bad weather hits, causing major flooding issues around the town.
"All the fields are flooded so none of our farmers are here like they normally are and they're all out working to try and help stop the flood," said Weaver.
Weaver did add that once the fields dry out and roads open back up, business should pick back up.
