JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - No injuries were reported as fire crews battled a house fire Monday night in Jonesboro.
According to Jonesboro dispatch, crews were called out to the 1100-block of Flint St. around 8 p.m.
When they got on scene, there was heavy smoke and flames at the back of the house.
Fire officials told Region 8 News that people were inside when the fire started but got themselves out safely.
Roads in the Elm and Flint St. area were closed as crews worked to battle the blaze.
Officials said there was major damage to the patio and back exterior walls.
The department is still investigating the fire to determine a cause.
