The team standings got a little tighter in the second round of the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship as South Alabama heads into Wednesday's final round with a one shot lead over Texas State.

South Alabama carded a two-over 290 on Tuesday to move into the lead. Texas State, after carding a 290 on Monday, carded an eight-over 296. Troy sits just three shots back USA and Georgia Southern is four shots back. USA, Texas State and Troy will be the final grouping in Wednesday's third round.

On the individual side, South Alabama's Siti Shaari and Texas State's Anne-Charlotte Mora head into the third and final round tied at two-under. Shaari, who was at even-par after Monday's round, carded a two-under 70 to move into the tie for first, while Mora even par on Tuesday. Shaari birdied three of the final six holes and had four on the day. Both Shaari and Mora tallied four birdies on Tuesday.

Arkansas State's Olivia Schmidt posted a tournament low on Tuesday with a four-under 68 to move into a tie for fifth-place in the individual standings. Schmidt posted five birdies and one bogey in the second round. She started round two tied for 31st.

Wednesday's third and final round begins at 8:00 a.m. ET from split tees on Nos. 1 and 10. The top six teams will all tee off on the No. 1 hole, while Nos. 7 through 11 will go off the No. 10 tee.
