News report on commercial burglary leads to man’s arrest

BROOKLAND, AR (KAIT) - A story that was seen on Region 8 News in March lead to the arrest of a man in connection to a commercial burglary.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Brookland police began investigating a commercial burglary at a construction site on Hayes Street on March 15.

Surveillance video was used to positively identify one of the suspects as James Bradley Davidson.

Physical evidence was also recovered from the scene belonging to the suspect, along with a trailer that still had building materials on it.

Court documents state that a family member of Davidson saw spotted him in a story on Region 8 News and informed police he was one of the suspects.

A judge on April 16 found probable cause to charge Davidson with commercial burglary. His bond was set at $15,000.
