Region 8 StormTeam Forecast

Today's Forecast

Today's Forecast Image

Temperatures will remain well below normal throughout the work week as upper level low pressure remains parked over the eastern United States. Record low temperatures will once again be in jeopardy tonight as temperatures fall to near 60 degrees in northeast Arkansas and north Mississippi and the mid 50s in west Tennessee. Tomorrow should be slightly warmer than today with temperatures in the lower 80s. Rain chances will increase late Wednesday and into Thursday as an upper level disturbance moves through the lower Mississippi valley region. Thursday will be the coolest day this week due to cloud cover associated with this disturbance. The upper level system causing the below average temperatures should begin to lift out of the area early next week allowing for more summer like temperatures to return.
