OAK GROVE HEIGHTS, AR (KAIT) - A morning house fire destroys a 2-story home north of Oak Grove Heights but no one was injured.
Greene County firefighters responded to 4246 Hwy. 135 North, shortly after 4 AM Thursday. When they arrived, they tell Region 8 News that the top story of the home was completely destroyed.
Firefighters battled the flames but were unable to put the fire out in time to save the home, leaving it a total loss.
Fire officials add that they determined the home was empty as it was being remodeled.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
