POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) - A Region 8 woman died Saturday night when the car she was riding in veered into oncoming traffic.
The crash happened on Pyburn Road Extended in Pocahontas.
Arkansas State Police say 18-year-old Zachary Lee Taylor of Pocahontas was westbound when his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am crossed the center line, colliding with a 1998 Chevrolet pickup driven by 36-year-old Ronald Wicker of Imboden.
Wicker and 29-year-old Andrea Karr of Pocahontas were taken to Five Rivers Medical Center.
Karr was pronounced dead.
Taylor was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
