
JONESBORO, Ark. (8/25/09) - The Arkansas State Alumni Association will be holding an event in northwest Arkansas which will have featured speakers John Brady, ASU head men's basketball coach, Dr. Dean Lee, ASU Director of Athletics, Dr. Robert Potts, ASU-Jonesboro Chancellor and Cristian Murdock, ASU Vice-Chancellor for University Advancement. The event will be today from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Fast Lane Entertainment in Lowell, Ark.
The event is a social get together which will allow members of the ASU Alumni Association to celebrate the University's Centennial Year with representatives from the university.
"We always look forward to the opportunity to visit with our alumni in all areas of the state, and this function allows us to talk about not only our outstanding athletic programs, but the university as well with our fans in NW Arkansas," said Lee.
