JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The 2009 football campaign for the Red Wolves begins tonight.
ASU comes into the game tonight after finishing (6-6) in 2008. The Red Wolves started their season in College Station last year against Texas A&M coming away with an impressive 18-14 win. Arkansas State come's into 2009 with high expectations, most publications have the Red Wolves picked to finish second in the Sunbelt just behind Troy who fell to Bowling Green 31-14 Thursday night. Next week ASU heads to Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the 24th ranked Cornhuskers.
ASU and MVSU have met only one other time with ASU coming away with a 55-3 victory. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm at ASU Stadium.
