NEWARK, AR (KAIT) - A Region 8 man was killed when his motorcycle hit an oncoming car head-on.
The accident happened around 5:30 Tuesday evening on highway 69 in Newark in Independence County.
According to Arkansas State Police, 53-year-old Terry Long of Batesville was westbound on Highway 69 when another car driven by Brandy Mann, crossed the center line and hit Long head-on.
A passenger on the motorcycle, Anita Long of Batesville, was also injured in the accident. The driver of the car was not injured.
