JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Two people were killed in Greene County Thursday night after a car lost on control on the wet road.
The accident happened around 10:15 Thursday evening across from Glen Sain Motors in Paragould on highway 49.
According to Arkansas State Police records, 20-year old Tyler Tritch and 18-year old Candace Scott were traveling northbound on Highway 49 when they hydroplaned, spun, and collided with 19-year old Seth Tripod who was traveling south.
Tritch and Scott were killed in the accident. Tripod was taken to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. According to Tripod's family, he is in stable condition.
All three involved were wearing their seat belts.
