CAMDEN, AR (KAIT) - Several Region 8 firefighters survive a possible tornado touchdown in Camden, Arkansas Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters from Jonesboro, Blytheville, Searcy, as well as other Region 8 counties were on the Southern Arkansas University Tech campus for training when the possible tornado touched down.
All students and firefighters are accounted for and are OK.
The roof of the academy was heavily damaged, as well as several exterior buildings around campus.
Reports are also coming in that emergency vehicles were also damaged by the possible twister.
