SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - A Searcy man died when a car he was riding in ran off a bridge in White County.
The accident happened around 1 a.m. Sunday morning on state highway 258 in White County.
According to Arkansas State Police, Eric McCurley was going south on Graham Road and tried to cross a small wooden bridge. Police say the car ran off the right side of the bridge, and overturned upside down in the water.
Jose Rodriguez did not get out in time and drowned. McCurley and another passenger, Eddie Carlton, were able to get out, and were transported to a local hospital.
