KAIT-Jonesboro, AR-News, weather, sports, classifieds-Home explodes in Region 8; cause under investigation

BLACK ROCK, AR (KAIT) - Fire departments from Black Rock and Portia spend the better part of Tuesday fighting a fire caused by a house explosion.
The call came into dispatch around 11 Tuesday morning that a home had exploded on the corner of 6th and Beech Street in Black Rock.
Black Rock Fire Chief Pat Roby says the crew spent hours searching around the home for anyone who may have been inside. No one lived inside the home.
The fire department is still investigating what caused the explosion, and if any charges could be filed.
