Jonesboro, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas State hosted Indiana State in the second of a three game homestand at the Convocation Center.

Daniel Byrant had 23 points off the bench, but it wasn't enough as the Sycamores won their second straight game over a Sun Belt opponent 77-72.

John Brady's Red Wolves started the contest on a 11-4 run, powered by Brandon Reed and Martavius Adams.

The game was a seesaw tilt with plenty of lead changes. Carl Richard was one of 4 Sycamores in double figures with 17 points and 6 rebounds.

Indiana State led 37-33 at halftime, but the Red Wolves came back early in the second half to tie it up at 41. But the Sycamores opened up a 25-11 run to open up a 14 point lead.

ASU tried to rally back in the final minute with a three by Bryant to cut it to 75-72. But Indiana State drained two free throws to ice it.

The 3-2 Red Wolves finish up their homestand, hosting Ole Miss on Wednesday. Tipoff is 7:05 at the Convocation Center.
