JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro Fire Department responds to an early Monday morning fire that they say looked much worse than it was.
It happened around 6:00 p.m. at Delta Consolidated Industries, Inc. at 4800 Krueger Dr. in Jonesboro.
Battalion Chief Brett Winstead says when his crew arrived, they were witness to flames on the roof of one of the facility's shops.
After battling the blaze, Winstead says his firefighters realized it was only the roof and insulation on fire, not the entire structure.
The entire facility was evacuated but no one was injured.
With exception to those who worked in the shop, all normal work resumed. Winstead said those who worked in the shop were sent home.
