POINSETT COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – The Poinsett County Sheriff's Department arrested 3 men in connection with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine.
According to the sheriff's department, deputies were observing the home of John Shaver after a report of suspicious activity was reported to police. The deputies observed Shaver and 2 others carrying unknown substances into a field.
Police say once they approached the home, William Condra and Travis Blansett hide from police, but were later found. Shaver entered the home and was arrested.
Shaver faces possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of anhydrous in an unlawful container and manufacturing methamphetamine, and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
William Condra faces conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, and is being held on a $10,000 bond. Blansett faces possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of anhydrous in an unlawful container and manufacturing methamphetamine, and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
All 3 are set to appear in circuit court on Friday December 18th.
