JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Prices at the movie theater have been going up the past couple of years. It cost about eight dollars just to go to the movie, and eleven dollars to see it in 3-D.

"I only had twenty bucks when I came in here, and with that 20 bucks I was able for me and my brother to see how to train your dragon, and me to get popcorn and a drink," says Anna Wheaton.
The prices at the box office are not only appetizing, but the concession stand are even offering good deals. Monday and Tuesday nights is bring your own bowl night. The customer can bring there own bowl, and the concession stand will fill it for free, including free refills. "We thought popcorn isn't the most expensive thing in the world we can provide this service for somebody to come in and maybe they only had enough money just to buy a ticket they can still bring and bowl and have something that they can eat and enjoy while they are watching their movie," says Eason.
Thursdays nights is college night. College students with a valid ID are able to get in for the price of a child's admission. The students are also provided with popcorn and a drink.
