Region 8 man ejected from car in fatal accident

FREMONT, MO (KAIT) – Joseph D. Whitlow, 47, of Poplar Bluff was pronounced dead after a one vehicle accident in Fremont Monday night.

According the Missouri State Police Trooper P. R. Wells, Whitlow was traveling eastbound on US 160 one mile east of Fremont, MO when his 1996 Pontiac Firebird went off the left side of the road and overturned. Before the vehicle came to a final stop on its top, Wilson was ejected from his vehicle.

Missouri crash reports say he was pronounced dead at 9:27 p.m. by Dr. Chaffin with the St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, MO.

Trooper P. R. Wells was assisted by Corporal J. A. Cravens.
