STONE COUNTY, AR (KAIT)- A man was arrested on drug charges on Hwy. 5 after being pulled over by a Stone County deputy. Deputy Justin Smith stopped Billy Jack Wilson for speeding on Hwy. 5 Wednesday.

OSCEOLA, AR (KAIT) -- Early Sunday morning, the Osceola Police Department responded to a resident on the corner of Highway 61 and Quinn Avenue, Police Chief Ray Rigsby said. According to Rigsby, a woman was shot in the head and sent to The Med in Memphis. It's unknown what the woman's condition is, but doctors don't believe the injury is life-threatening.
Rigsby said police responded to the call before 8:30 Sunday morning. A suspect is currently in custody for the shooting, and Rigsby said charges could be filed tomorrow or Tuesday.
The identity of the woman and suspect is not being released at this time.
