MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The Memphis Grizzlies have signed their second-round draft pick Jarnell Stokes to a multi-year contract. The Grizzlies didn't disclose the terms Monday. The Commercial Appeal reports it's a three-year deal worth more than $2.5 million for the 35th pick overall.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Titans running back Shonn Greene says his right knee didn't hurt during practice Monday, his first workout since it was briefly bent the wrong way in a preseason game. Greene has had two arthroscopic surgeries on that knee within the past year since getting hurt in the opener last season, costing him five games.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee freshman Jashon Robertson's improbable rise to a potential starting role underscores the Volunteers' precarious situation on the offensive line. Robertson didn't enroll in time for spring practice. He started training camp on the defensive line before moving to offense. Now he's regularly working as a first-team guard in practice.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Jason Heyward and Andrelton Simmons homered to begin a six-run first inning, and the Atlanta Braves beat the sliding Pittsburgh Pirates 7-3 Monday night for their fourth consecutive victory. The early outburst was enough for Ervin Santana, who allowed three solo homers among nine hits in 5 1-3 innings.
