CARUTHERSVILLE, MO - Police in Caruthersville were called on yesterday morning to break up a severe fight that had gotten out of control on a Caruthersville School District bus.
At approximately 9:05 a.m., police responded to Caruthersville High School, where they arrested three 17-year-old male students, all of Caruthersville. The trio is charged with peace disturbance by fighting.
The incident follows a more serious altercation on a school bus in Pemiscot County last spring, when a 14-year-old male student on a South Pemiscot School District bus stabbed another junior high student several times. The accident happened while the bus was on its route near Steele.
