Missing Gosnell Teenager Found in Canada

GOSNELL, AR - A Gosnell teenager missing since last Thursday has been located unharmed in London, Ontario, Canada.

A spokesman with the Gosnell Police Dept. told Region 8 News this morning that 16-year-old Katie Halsell phoned her family late Tuesday afternoon and told them of her location, and that she was ready to come home.  Her family is en route to Ontario at this time to get her. The girl apparently left Gosnell Thursday morning in the company of two adults, and she apparently traveled with the couple to Canada.

It has not yet been determined whether charges will be filed against 19-year-old Bethany Broom and 25-year-old Nick Brown.

 

GOSNELL, AR - Police in Gosnell are desparately trying to locate a 16-year-old teenage girl who was last seen on Thursday of last week.

Police Chief Fred Roberts told Region 8 News that Katherin "Katie" Halsell is believed to be a runaway, and may be in the company of 19-year-old Bethany Broom and/or 25-year-old Nick Brown.

Katie Halsell is 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds, with brownish/red hair and hazel eyes.  Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the Gosnell PD at 870-532-8545.
