05/02/08 SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND TORNADOES ARE MOVING SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE STATE WITH REPORTS OF DAMAGE AND INJURIES.

CRITTENDEN COUNTY- ADEM 212 IS REPORTING 10 INJURIES (4 OF WHICH WERE CRITICAL) (1855 HRS 5/02/08) LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTED SEVERAL INJURIES BUT NOTHING SERIOUS. THERE ARE NO REPORTS OF FATALITIES (1732 HRS 5/02/08)

VAN BUREN COUNTY- 5 (FIVE) INJURIES (1145 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)  LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTED 6 INJURES SENT TO THE HOSPITAL (2000 HRS 5/02/08)

CLEBURNE COUNTY- 5/2/08 1706 LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTED WESTSIDE BAPTIST SHELTER IS NO LONGER THE PRIMARY SHELTER. THE NEW SHELTER IS BUD CREEK, WITH THE CAPABILITY OF HOUSING 200. THE SHELTER IS LOCATED ON HWY 92. 5/2/08 1520 LCOORD ADVISED THAT THERE WILL BE A SHELTER SET UP AT WESTSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH IN GREER'S FERRY

CRITTENDEN COUNTY-  A SHELTER HAS BEEN REPORTED AT THE EARLE HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF HWY 64 AND HWY 118 (1920 HRS 5/02/08)

PULASKI COUNTY- SHELTER WILL OPEN AT 1600 HRS AT WOODSON FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH POC IS DUNLAP @ 501-682-2257 (1359 HRS 5/2/08 GOC) 1535 LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTED THAT THE 1ST BAPTIST CHURCH IS NO LONGER A SHELTER. THE NEW SHELTER IS LONE PINE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 27508 HWY 365 HENSLEY AR. THIS WILL BE RED CROSS SHELTER. 1359 THERE WILL BE A SHELTER SET UP AT 1ST BAPTIST CHURCH IN WOODSON, 24100 BARTON ST. POC IS DUNLAP 682-2257, THE SHELTER SHOULD OPEN ABOUT 1600

CHICOT COUNTY- HWY 65 COMPLETELY SHUTDOWN BY ASP FROM MCMILLAN TO 8 MILES SOUTH OF THE HWY 165 SPLIT   1940 HRS 05/02/08

CLEBURNE COUNTY-HWY 92 CLOSED DUE TO DEBRIS AND POWER LINES (1057 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

CONWAY COUNTY- HWY 9 CLOSED AT CATHOLIC POINT ROAD (1046 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

GRANT COUNTY-HWY 35 CLOSED DUE TO A MOBILE HOME IN ROAD, NUMEROUS COUNTY ROADS CLOSED DUE TO DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES (1240 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY - LOCAL COORDINATOR IS REPORTING HWY 136 AND HWY 77 BLOCKED (5/2/08 1538 HRS)

BENTON COUNTY- 6 HOMES DAMAGED (1030 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

CHICOT COUNTY- ASP REPORTS: THERE HAS BEEN SOME TREES BLOWN DOWN ON 144 WEST OF 65 JUST NORTH OF LAKE VILLAGE. ALSO HAVE A POWER LINE ACROSS 65 JUST NORTH OF LAKE VILLAGE ENTERGY CREWS ARE ENROUTE AT THIS TIME HAVE NOT HAD ANY REPORTS OF ANY STRUCTURAL DAMAGE OR ANY INJURIES (1931 HRS 05/02/08)

CLEBURNE COUNTY- OVER 75 HOMES DAMAGED 25 HOMES DESTROYED (1221 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

CONWAY COUNTY-  LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTS 14 STRUCTURES (HOMES & MOBILE HOMES) DESTROYED. ANOTHER 31 WERE DAMAGED WHICH RANGED FROM MAJOR TO SEVERE DAMAGE (1814 HRS 5/02/08).  M AND M ROAD AREA, 4 HOMES DESTROYED, 4 MOBILE HOMES DESTROYED 4 HOMES WITH MAJOR DAMAGE, 5 HOMES WITH MINOR DAMAGE.  HWY 9 AREA, 2 HOMES WITH MINOR DAMAGE, CATHOLIC POINT ROAD AREA, 2 HOMES DESTROYED, 1 HOME WITH MAJOR DAMAGE AND 3 HOMES WITH MINOR DAMAGE, MAHAN ROAD AREA 1 HOME WITH MAJOR DAMAGE.  HWY 9 NORTH OF CATHOLIC POINT ROAD, 2 HOMES DESTROYED (1240 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

CRITTENDEN COUNTY- ADEM 212 IS REPORTING 75-100 HOUSES DAMAGED (1854 HRS 5/02/08). SEVERAL HOMES REPORTED DAMAGED IN EARLE. LOCAL COORDINATOR ENROUTE (1545 HRS 5/2/08)

GRANT COUNTY- ADEM 211 REPORTED 17 HOMES AFFECTED. RED CROSS IS CURRENTLY DOING ASSESSMENTS. THEY ARE REPORTING TREES AND POWERLINES DOWN. THERE ARE UNKNOWN NUMBER OF HOMES DAMAGED (5/2/08 1728)

HOWARD COUNTY- 1 MOBILE HOME DAMAGED (1140 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

LONOKE COUNTY- 5/2/2008 16:30 SMA LCOORD REPORTS 2 FARM SHOPS IN PETTUS DAMAGED. KEO HAD 2 HOUSES AND 2 FARM SHOPS WITH ROOF DAMAGE.

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY - RED CROSS DAMAGE ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN COMPLETED. THERE WERE TWO MOBILE HOMES USED AS STORAGE SHEDS IN ETOWAH THAT HAD MODERATE DAMAGE. NO OTHER HOMES IN THAT CITY WERE DAMAGED. ALL ROADWAYS IN ETOWAH ARE NOW OPEN. MOST OF THE DAMAGE TO HOUSES OCCURRED ON A HALF MILE STRETCH OF STATE HWY 77 BETWEEN STATE HWYS 140 AND 297. TWO HOMES RECEIVED MAJOR DAMAGE. THE ROOF WAS BLOWN OFF OF ONE HOME AND THE BACK SIDE OF THE HOUSE WAS TORN OFF ANOTHER HOME. FOUR HOMES RECEIVED MODERATE DAMAGE AND ONE HOME RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE. THERE WAS ONE PERSON THAT SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES AND WAS TREATED AT THE SCENE. A CAR DEALERSHIP IN THE AREA WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED (POSSIBOLY 10 USED VEHICLES ON THE LOT). SEVERAL OUT BUILDINGS WERE ALSO DESTROYED. NUMEROUS TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN. THERE ARE NO ROAD CLOSURES IN THE COUNTY. THE RED CROSS IS ASSISTING VICTIMS BUT SO FAR THERE HAS BEEN NO NEED TO OPEN A SHELTER (1812 HRS 5/02/08)

NEWTON COUNTY- ONE HOME WITH TREE ON ROOF AND PARTIAL COLLAPSE OF STRUCTURE (1012 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

PULASKI COUNTY- 20 HOMES DESTROYED IN WOODSON AREA (1300 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

SALINE COUNTY- 1 MOBILE HOME DESTROYED (1220 HRS 5/2/08 GOC).  DEPUTY COORDINATOR REPORTS 1 HOME DAMAGED ON PECAN LAKE-EAST ROAD (1517 HRS 5/2/08)

 VAN BUREN COUNTY- LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTS 28 TOTALS HOME DESTROYED 7 HOME MINOR 3 HOMES SEVERE 6 CHICKEN HOUSES SEVERELY DAMAGED 3 BUSINESSES MAJOR DAMAGE 1 CHURCH DESTROYED 1 CHURCH SEVERELY DAMAGED. ADEM 214 REPORTED POWER LINES DOWN ALONG HWY 65 THIS WILL AFFECT BOTH ENTERGY AND THE CO-OP (2000 HRS 5/02/08) 28 HOMES DESTROYED, 3 HOMES WITH MAJOR DAMAGE, 7 HOMES WITH MINOR DAMAGE (1330 HRS 5/2/08 GOC)

FACILITIES AFFECTED - PUBLIC

LONOKE COUNTY- 1630 CARLISLE IS WITHOUT POWER IN THE CENTER OF TOWN AND THE OLD DEPOT IS DAMAGED. LOCAL COORDINATOR IS ON HER WAY TO CARLISLE AND SOME DAMAGE IN KEO AREA. 13:35  LOCAL COORDINATOR REPORTS TORNADO HIT CARLISLE WITH SEVERAL HOMES DAMAGED, FIRE DEPARTMENT DAMAGED, CARLISLE ELEM SCHOOL DAMAGE AT THE SOUTH END OF THE BUILDING (NO INJURIES)POWER LINES AND TREES DOWN
