4 Arrested in Searcy Meth Bust

SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - Four people are under arrest following a meth bust in White County. 

25 year-old Adam Norris of Strong, Ark., 36 year-old Melanie Shadell, 38 year-old Robert Hudson of Searcy, and 48 year-old Deborah Hobbs were arrested Monday.

Norris was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, specifically methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal attempt to manufacture. He was transported to the White County Law Enforcement Center where his bond was set at $50,000.

Shadell was charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal attempt to manufacture. Her bond is set at $100,000.

Hudson and Hobbs were charged with criminal attempt to manufacture, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug premises. Their bond was set at $25,000 each.

Searcy Police, Central Arkansas Drug Task Force and the White County Sheriff's Department participated in the arrests.
