The bond has passed, and now, Tyler ISD is moving forward with plans to bring students newer and safer classrooms. The $160.5 million dollar TISD bond passed Saturday night with 63 percent of the vote.
Superintendent Gary Mooring says the victory is a mandate from the community to improve Tyler's schools.
