    CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KAIT) – Caruthersville Police say a man suspected of breaking into a woman's home took more than just her cold, hard cash.  They say he also stole her frozen food. Just before 4 Saturday morning, officers were called to the Walker Terrace Apartments.  According to the police report, the victim told officers she awoke to find a man in her house.  The man allegedly demanded money from her and threatened to kill her if she didn't comply....

    The 59-year-old Mountain Home man apparently admitted he had smoked marijuana.  According to the sheriff's office, a search of his home by probation officers turned up 14 grams of marijuana.

    Steven Lynn Coney of Gassville was released from the Arkansas Department of Corrections on January 26.  By law, the 38-year-old convicted sex offender was required to register with the sheriff's office no later than February 5.  When he did not, sheriff's deputies went looking for him.
