TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) - The ice storm claims the life of Trumann Police Chief Larry Blagg.
Sources say that Chief Blagg was helping remove ice storm debris when a tree branch fell on him. Trumann Mayor Sheila Walters says Blagg went into cardiac arrest. The 40-year-old is said to have died on the way to the hospital.
A news conference is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Region 8 News is there and will have more tonight at Five and Six.
