Middle Tennessee Announces 2009 Football Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Middle Tennessee State University athletic director Chris Massaro has announced the school's 2009 football schedule.

The Blue Raiders will host SEC foe Mississippi State, Conference USA member Memphis, and Sun Belt Conference opponents FIU, Arkansas State, Louisiana, and Western Kentucky to make up the 6-game home schedule, a news release states.

The home opener on Sept. 12 is against Memphis, making it the first Murfreesboro match up between the schools since 1953.

Season ticket prices will remain $90 in 2009 even though there is an additional home game.
