Science Fair at ASU

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -- The 53rd annual Northeast Arkansas Regional Science Fair concluded Saturday afternoon at the ASU Student Union.  Projects in 17 different categories competed for top prize today, with the winner getting recognition from the international science fair.  Doctor Kennon Tillman said students learn the processes a scientist must take when doing projects and research.  If a project wins, then they could go to Reno, Nevada for the international contest.

"Our overall winner and our runner up in the senior division and our team senior division winners qualify for the international science and engineering fair," said Dr. Kennon Tillman.

Dr. Tillman said more than 160 projects were entered into the ASU Science Fair this weekend.
