Pitino says Ford, Pelphrey would jump for Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - With the departure of Billy Gillespie from Kentucky, there's talk already that perhaps Arkansas basketball coach John Pelphrey might be interested in the job. Louisville coach Rick Pitino says Pelphrey or Oklahoma State's Travis Ford would likely jump to the Wildcats if the job was offered. Pelphrey played for Pitino when Pitino coached at Kentucky. So did Ford.

Gillespie was hired two years ago but Kentucky was not as successful as usual. The school fired him last week.
