Redhawks and Purple Aces will now play April 21 at Capaha Field

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Due to a strong possibility for thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, the scheduled baseball game between Southeast Missouri State and Evansville has been moved to April 21. Game time for the makeup date will be announced at a later date.

The Redhawks (16-8, 6-0) will play at Arkansas State on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Jonesboro. Southeast currently carries a 6-game winning streak after earning Ohio Valley Conference series sweeps over UT Martin and Tennessee Tech.

Southeast will host perennial OVC power Jacksonville State for a 3-game weekend series at Capaha Field. Saturday's doubleheader and the series finale Sunday are both scheduled for 1 p.m.
