Ark. deputies search Lake Hamilton for man

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Deputies say they are searching for a man they presumed drowned in Lake Hamilton during the holiday weekend.

Garland County Sheriff's Lt. Rodney Neighbors told the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record that the 23-year-old man likely drowned Friday afternoon while swimming with a friend.

Witnesses say the man, whose identity has yet to be released, tried to swim after an adrift jet ski with a friend. The friend got tired and return to shore, but the missing man kept swimming.

The extremely low visibility on Lake Hamilton has made the search difficult for divers. --- Information from: The Sentinel-Record,
