Razorbacks open play at Norman Regional against Washington State
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - A game between Arkansas and Washington State opens play today at the NCAA's Norman Regional Baseball Tournament in Oklahoma.
The contest matches two teams that have already played each other three times this season -- really. Way back in February, Washington State opened its season by losing three games to the Razorbacks on their home field at Fayetteville.
Razorback coach Dave Van Horn says that series was a long time ago, and was hard-fought, with all the games won by one or two runs. He said the series could have gone either way.

Arkansas finished the first two rounds of stroke play on the par-71 course with a total of 580 strokes, just 12 behind the leading team, Oklahoma State.
